Songs of Invitation

Come Unto Me
Come unto Me all ye who are weary
And I will give you rest

You can take my yoke upon you
And you can learn of Me
For I am meek and lowly in my heart
And You will find rest for Your souls

Come unto Me all ye who are weary
And I will give you rest

Turn to Me and Be Saved
I left my throne in Heav’n itself and chose to live as man
I shared my life, my love, my all
I shared my Father’s plan
Of abundant life unending, of My home above
All I ask is that you trust me
Please accept my love

Turn to Me and be saved all the ends of the earth
For there is no other
I’m Jesus Christ, the giver of Life
The Savior, the Messiah
Some day ev’ry knee will bow, ev’ry tongue will swear
That I alone am Savior
So look, you’ll see
Turn to Me, be saved

I gave my life upon a cross
I shed my blood for you
I bore the sins of all the world
And yes, that means your sins, too
Then I conquered death’s strong power
Rising from the grave
No one else fought to redeem you
Only I can save

Turn to Me and be saved all the ends of the earth
For there is no other
I’m Jesus Christ, the giver of Life
The Savior, the Messiah
Some day ev’ry knee will bow, ev’ry tongue will swear
That I alone am Savior
So look, you’ll see
Turn to Me, be saved

Just Come
Begging was his life as he lay by the road
Blind was his sight, though he longed to be whole
Hearing it was Jesus in a crowd passing by
Bartimaeus raised His voice and he began to cry
“Have mercy on me, Jesus, have mercy” was his plea
It might be now or never so he cried with urgency

This was his hour, this was his moment
The day his heart had longed to see for all these years
He could shed the things that bind
He could leave the past behind
Hope was near, hope was here
This was his hour, this was his moment
The day that Jesus passed His way, the time had come
If He heard his desperate cry surely He would not pass by
All he had to do was to come, just come

Jesus heard his cry for help, “Call him to me” He said
His followers obeyed His voice and to the blind man went
“Have courage, rise, He calls for you,” were words he longed to hear
Throwing off his coat and jumping up to Jesus he came near
“I want to see,” the blind man said when Jesus asked His need
“Go your way,” He said, “By faith you’re healed,” and suddenly He could see

This was his hour, this was his moment
The day his heart had longed to see for all these years
He could shed the things that bind
As he left the past behind
Hope was near, hope was here
This was his hour, this was his moment
The day that Jesus passed his way and bid him come
Jesus heard his desperate cry and He did not pass him by
All he had to do for healing was to come, just come

Now in this very moment He is passing by
Do you not perceive, and will you not for mercy cry?
I’ve been sent to tell you that He calls for you
All you have to do is simply come, for healing come

This is your hour, this is your moment
The day your heart has longed to see for all these years
You can shed the things that bind
If you leave the past behind
Hope is near, hope is here
This is your hour, this is your moment
Jesus Himself is passing by and bids you come
He has heard your desperate cry
And He will not pass you by
All you have to do is simply come, just come

Even Now
Many times in the stillness God has called
Many times you refused to hear at all
You go to church and you play a game
A game that you cannot win
You’ve deceived yourself into thinking that you’ll be OK in the end

Many times God has offered you His grace
Many times you’ve rejected His embrace
The blood of Jesus cries out against you
And judgment hangs over your head
Your sin is to you like a break in a wall that falls suddenly, and yet

Even now, God still loves you, even now
Even now, though your sin may be as black as the night
You can be clean in His sight
His blood can make the foulest clean
His blood avails for me
Return and repent with all your heart
Fall down on your knees
Even now, God still loves you, even now
Even now, weep with mourning over your sin
Let the Savior come in
You’ve turned away so many times
Please don’t refuse again
Let the grace of God change your heart
Let the grace of God give your life a new start
Let the grace of God change your heart
Even now

Enter In
Enter His gates with thanksgiving
Enter His courts with praise
Come see the place of the sacrifice
Where the Lamb of God was slain
Let us offer ourselves on the altar
As in death a new life we begin
And with hands that are clean
And with hearts that are pure
We’ll be ready to enter in

As the Spirit illumines our footsteps
Daily we’ll feast on His Word
With boldness we’ll come to the throne of grace
For things we don’t deserve
There is fullness of joy in His presence
And a refuge from sorrow and sin
We can know His mind
We can know His heart
If we’re willing to enter in

Enter in to the Holy Place
Enter in where we can see His face
Enter in to the presence of the Lord
There we’ll live and we’ll talk with Him
There we’ll live and we will walk with Him
There we’ll live in the presence of the Lord
